Deal primarily with “time recording” issues and then delve into a number of commercial and monetary aspects including (inter alia) value issues and psychology (eg under-estimating, under-charging.
Confidence in charging your worth); mechanics of time recording; organisation and delegation; billing; rates and pricing; write-offs; magic triangle; client service / management and ‘push and tell’ (getting through the work as often too busy to bill!); efficiency; pricing; scoping; getting paid; debt; any related issues identified (most issues tend to be present as they are inter-related) - some of these will be more relevant than others once we dig down
Work through each issue individually and then holistically and then specific issues (new or problematic), with the aim of increasing daily chargeable hours by at least 20 pc if they put in the work (hopefully more).
This equates on average to £72,000 extra per fee earner per annum (possibly more - this is based on £300 per hour).

I have found that, not only do the firms gain real and tangible value from the time recording aspects, the other aspects of the workshop all add profit too as they are interlinked (eg firms have reported much improved billing; a number have told me that my organisation tips have changed their lives!)
